Designed using advanced gallium nitride (GaN) technology, this advanced narrowband power amplifier delivers superior performance for the most challenging communications, radar, and electronic warfare systems.*
The MM1113P53A covers the 1100-1300 MHz frequency band and delivers an impressive 200W typical output power. This high performance level ensures consistent signal integrity across the entire operating band, which is crucial for sensitive applications where precision is paramount.

Utilizing GaN semiconductor technology and advanced chip-and-wire assembly techniques, these amplifiers represent a significant leap forward in RF power technology. Compared to traditional LDMOS-based amplifiers, they offer higher power density and significantly higher efficiency, even at higher frequencies, and superior thermal performance due to GaN's high electron mobility, high thermal conductivity, and high breakdown voltage. This enables system designers to achieve higher power in a smaller form factor while reducing overall power consumption and cooling requirements.
In addition to raw performance, the modules integrate comprehensive protection and monitoring features necessary for reliable operation in critical environments. These features include analog voltage monitors for forward and reflected power levels, enabling real-time system health and performance monitoring. The amplifiers also feature robust overtemperature protection, initiating a restart cycle at 60°C and full thermal protection at 95°C. Additionally, overcurrent protection safeguards the amplifiers from abnormal load conditions other than short circuits, and overvoltage protection prevents potential damage from power supply spikes, timing issues, or mode switching events.
