Product introduction

The MM3033P44A is a narrowband high power amplifier that operates from 3000 - 3300 MHz and produces 20 Watts of saturated output power. This Class AB amplifier offers high efficiency and linearity with good typical performance including 44 dB gain, ±1.5 dB gain flatness. The output power of this narrowband RF amplifier module has -15 dBc harmonics at 20 Watts with a spurious value of -55 dBc. The DC magnitude of the power at 10 Watts is 3.5 Amps and the operating voltage is typically at 28 Volts. The RF amplifier's over-current protection circuit controls the input voltage and output current so that the SSPA amplifier always operates within safe limits.
The RF amplifier module uses SMA female input and output connectors. The purpose of the SMA connector is to connect the source and target devices of an RF signal in order to transmit electrical signals and data. The connector provides excellent RF performance and power amplifier efficiency, such as high frequency response and low distortion, and is widely used in high frequency communications and RF microwave applications.
The DC interface of the RF amplifier module consists of a mating female D-SUB socket connector and a D-Sub 9-pin male connector. The D-Sub 9-pin connector is enabled with TTL logic control, current sensing and temperature sensing. Our solid state power amplifiers are protected against over-temperature when operating at 85 degrees Celsius, at which point they need to be cooled down. When the operating temperature reaches 60 degrees Celsius,  the RF product will be restarted automatically instead of shutting down directly.
The dimension of this narrowband module is 150x90x25mm (5.9x3.55x0.98inch) and the weight is 1.2kg (2.6lbs).
Narrowband amplifiers have higher gain and lower noise figure than wideband amplifiers and perform better in radio communication, gallium nitride radar and other applications. This RF amplifier uses gallium nitride transistors and an aluminum cavity, which can be effectively used in microwave jammer field.
Mars RF stocks a wide range of SSPA amplifiers, RF power modules and more, ensuring the fastest possible shipment for all your RF microwave and millimeter-wave amplifier component needs.
